Renko bars trading strategies
Well we already knew that it was a good strategy but we needed trading backtest it over a few years at least to say it for sure. Actually we did it starting from the beginning of so to have about 25 months of trades. At the moment we are running this EA on 9 pairs and planning to add more in the coming weeks. Bars are a few backtest performances on 5 out of th 9 pair that we are actually using. And then we used renko generated Renko chart to make our backtests. I think so by looking at the charts but I want to be sure by doing a first backtest and then starting a forward test trading it. I see sir Thanks for your response. I have been runnig these for a couple of years and have not seen 1 to auto calculate the box sizes based on ATR but 1 and it was hard to use casue it overlayed the timed based chart. It did have 1 good feature that I think may be good which was to show a histo of the current pip and bigger pip bar charts. So the trader could determine the validity of the signal. It was like looking at a larger time frame when bars a time based chart. Maybe there is some way we can look into using this. It was also a semi automatic approach that allowed a trader to get a text with trading to determine if the trade was valid and if the EA should place it or not via that text. This really saved on screen time. However with bars that said I am interested in this new one you have sir and maybe we can work strategies to give a little more flexibilty to it. Based on our experience and backrest it works without any particular modify to the settings other than choosing the right Renko box size.
